What's so special about the New Leather Care Kit?
The COLOURLOCK Leather Shield Cleaning and Maintenance Set is an ideal kit to prevent colour damage and colour transfer on leather caused by friction on high-contact areas in car interiors (driver's seat bolsters), furniture, sofas, chairs, jackets, and handbags.
CONTENTS: - 1 x Leather Cleaner Soft/Strong 125 ml - 1 x Leather Protector 150 ml - 1 x Cleaning Cloth - 1 x Cleaning Sponge.
We also have a smaller kit with 1 x 30 ml Strong Cleaner, 1 x 30 ml Leather Protector & 1 x Cleaning sponge. The small kit does not include a cloth.

How do you use the New Leather Care Kit?
Ideal for smooth leather in a car or furniture upholstery. If soiled, the leather must be cleaned thoroughly before applying Leather Shield. The COLOURLOCK Leather Cleaning Brush facilitates working with stubborn dirt deep in the grain (not included). New leather should be maintained with Leather Shield for the first 3 years. For leather items and surfaces older than 3 years, we recommend the COLOURLOCK Leather Care Kit with Leather Protector.
New leather does not require special conditioning, but it does need effective protection against wear, abrasion, and discoloration. In a new car, for example, the driver's seat often experiences more wear. Treat the driver's seat every 3 months and the rest of the leather upholstery every 6–12 months. The same applies to furniture.
Areas that are used more frequently and are likely to suffer more colour damage due to friction should be treated with Leather Shield. The quantity is usually sufficient to treat a complete interior or a complete set of furniture multiple times. Important: Do not use on porous leather. Test: Rub a drop of water on the surface. If the leather absorbs the water, it is porous.
