What is so special about the Defoamer?

Anyone who cleans interiors with a carpet extractor knows the problem: the extracted water is full of cleaning agent and starts foaming heavily in the dirty water tank. That foam fills the tank faster than the actual dirty water, disrupts the suction power, and in the worst case can penetrate into the motor. Result: you have to stop, empty it, and start over.

ADBL's Defoamer is made precisely for that. You add a small amount to the dirty water tank, where it collapses the foam bubbles as soon as the extracted water enters. This keeps the tank usable for its entire capacity and your machine maintains its suction power.

Use is very economical: 20 to 50 ml in the tank is usually sufficient. If you are working with a pre-spray containing a lot of cleaning agent, you dose in proportion to the amount of pre-spray you have applied, because that is precisely the agent that causes the foam. A small product with a big impact on your working speed, and a recommendation for anyone who regularly cleans upholstery and carpet with an extractor.

How do you use Defoamer?

Ensure that the dirty water tank of your extractor is empty and clean before you start.
Dose approximately 20 to 50 ml of Defoamer directly into the dirty water tank.
If you are working with a pre-spray or a heavily foaming cleaner, adjust the dosage according to the amount of pre-spray you have applied.
Use your extractor as usual to clean and rinse the upholstery or carpet.
Check the foam level in the tank during work and add an extra splash if you see foam rising again.
Empty and rinse the dirty water tank when it is full, and dose again for the next round.
Store the product closed, cool, and dry, out of the reach of children.
