What is so special about the Double-Sided HSA Mounting Tape?
HPX HSA (High Strength Acrylic) is an industrial-grade double-sided tape, often compared to the well-known VHB tapes. With a width of 25 mm, this tape is a true powerhouse for mounting automotive accessories. It is an anthracite-colored, pressure-sensitive acrylic foam tape that compensates for minor surface irregularities and possesses an extremely high adhesive strength.
This tape is specifically designed to replace screws or rivets when attaching trim strips, emblems, spoilers, and even heavier panels. It is resistant to UV radiation, weather conditions, and extreme temperatures, making it perfect for both interior and exterior applications.

How do you use the Double-sided HSA Mounting Tape?
For an indestructible bond, preparation is crucial. First, clean both surfaces thoroughly and ensure they are grease-free using a good degreaser (such as isopropyl alcohol). Apply the tape to the object being mounted and press it firmly along its entire length; the adhesive is pressure-sensitive, so the harder you press, the better the bond. Remove the red protective film (liner) and position the object on the car.
Please note: you often only have one chance, as the initial tack is very high. After mounting, press the entire object firmly again for at least 30 seconds. The tape reaches its maximum final strength after approximately 24 to 72 hours.
