What is so special about the Micro Wash Storm?
Microfiber cloths and polishing pads are an investment that most people throw away far too quickly. The reason is almost always the same: they’re thrown into the regular laundry, with regular detergent and fabric softener. That fabric softener coats the fibers, sealing off exactly what you need—namely, the open structure that absorbs water. Your cloth then feels soft but no longer absorbs anything, and your pads remain saturated with old polish.
ADBL Micro Wash Storm is designed to address that specific problem. The formula penetrates deep into the fiber structure and removes not only organic dirt but also the residues that really clog up detailing cloths: polishing compound, wax, and other care products. Because these residues are removed, the cloth regains its softness and absorbency instead of gradually losing them.
In practice, it works just like a regular liquid detergent: you use a modest amount per full load and wash at a temperature between 30 and 60 degrees, depending on how dirty your laundry is. For light-duty cloths, the lower temperature is sufficient; for pads saturated with paste, use a higher temperature. This way, you’ll keep your cloths and pads usable for much longer, which not only saves you money but also improves results: a worn-out cloth is the quickest way to get scratches on your paint.

How do you use Micro Wash Storm?
- Sort your microfibers and pads by type and degree of contamination. Wash paintwork towels separately from wheels or engine bay towels.
- Shake or rinse the coarsest residues out of your pads and cloths before putting them in the machine.
- Dose 40 to 50 ml of Micro Wash Storm per full machine load.
- Choose the temperature according to the contamination: around 30 °C for light washing, up to 60 °C for heavily soiled cloths and pads.
- Never use fabric softener. It clogs the fibers and permanently makes your microfiber less absorbent.
- Dry the cloths on low heat or air dry, and preferably air dry polishing pads lying flat so they keep their shape.
- Store the cloths clean and dust-free, separated by usage category.
