Each backing pad utilizes Smart Heat Management technology with vertical and horizontal venting, along with a central recess, to reduce heat buildup within the pad. This ensures smooth operation and extends the overall lifespan of each pad.

How do you use the 5" DA Backing Plate?
Attach the backing pad to the shaft of your DA polisher (5/16"-24 thread) and tighten it securely with the included wrench. Accurately center a 5-inch (125-130 mm) polishing pad on the Velcro to prevent vibration and imbalance. You do not need to apply excessive pressure during polishing; the construction of the pad ensures even pressure distribution across the surface. After use, check the Velcro layer for dust or dirt and clean it with a soft brush if necessary to maintain optimal adhesion.
