What is so special about the Pad Cleaner?
After a correction session, polishing pads are saturated with compound and loosened paint residue. Not only is this a waste of the pad itself, but it also affects your work: a saturated pad no longer absorbs new compound, cuts unpredictably, and can carry over residues of a coarser compound during a subsequent, finer step. That is precisely how holograms are formed.
ADBL's Pad Cleaner is designed to loosen those residues. The product dissolves polishing compounds, wax, and other contaminants that have settled in the foam or microfiber, restoring your pads to their original performance.
Use is flexible. For routine work, the product is ready-to-use: apply to the pad, let it sit for a few minutes, and remove the dirt using compressed air, a Tornador, or a pad washer. If you work with a mechanical pad washing machine, dilute 25 to 50 ml per 5 liters of water.
This significantly extends the lifespan of your pads, which in professional use quickly outweighs the cost of the product. Finished with a fresh raspberry scent.

How do you use Pad Cleaner?
- First, remove the coarsest compound residues from the pad, for example by knocking it out dry or scraping it off.
- Apply the Pad Cleaner ready-to-use onto the contaminated surface of the pad so that the residues are thoroughly saturated.
- Let the product sit for a few minutes so it can dissolve the compound and wax residues.
- Remove the loosened dirt using compressed air, a Tornador, or a pad washer.
- If you work with a mechanical pad washing machine, dose 25 to 50 ml of product per 5 liters of water.
- Rinse the pad afterward and gently squeeze it out; do not force or wring it to protect the foam and the Velcro backing.
- Allow the pads to air dry flat so they keep their shape, and store them clean and dust-free.
