What is so special about the Pro Slip?
When installing film, slip is everything. Without installation fluid, the adhesive layer grabs immediately and you don't get a second chance; with the right fluid, you can calmly slide the film into position until it sits precisely right. ADBL's Pro Slip is made for precisely that work, and not just for paint protection film: it is equally suitable for color change wraps and window tinting.
What makes it professional are its properties regarding the adhesive layer. The product does not affect the adhesive and leaves no deposits behind, which is crucial because any residue remains visible under the film. Furthermore, it limits pull and drag marks when repositioning the film and accelerates the drying of the remaining water underneath the film. Rinsing can simply be done with cold water.
Consumption is exceptionally low. Dilution ranges from 1:500 to 1:50, depending on the conditions. In practice, this comes down to about 5 ml per liter of demineralized water for standard work, and 10 to 15 ml per liter for heavily stretched parts where you need more slip.
Using demineralized water is no minor detail: regular tap water leaves behind limescale residues under the film.

How do you use the Pro Slip?
- Mix the product with demineralized water: ± 5 ml per liter for standard work, 10 to 15 ml per liter for heavily stretched parts.
- Thoroughly clean and degrease the panel and work in an environment that is as dust-free as possible.
- Apply the solution to the topcoat and liner side of the film and remove it with a silicone squeegee.
- Spray the solution onto the car panel to remove any remaining dust, and repeat if necessary.
- Peel off the liner and apply the solution directly to the adhesive layer as well as the panel before placing the film.
- Position the film and squeegee it down, working from the center outward to push the fluid out between the film and the paint.
- Rinse the edges with demineralized water or water containing about 20% IPA, and check for trapped moisture.
