The perforated structure allows natural air circulation and doesn't trap moisture.
Cleaning your SWISSTRAX floor tiles
It's very simple: just vacuum regularly to remove most of the dust. Maintaining the tile surface is done with a wet mop or a cleaning machine, depending on your surface. If you need to clean or access your original floor, simply wipe down your tiles in the chosen location without having to dismantle all of them. Ribtrax floor tiles are the most popular model in the SWISSTRAX range.

How do you use the RIBTRAX Tiles PRO?
Installing a Swisstrax floor is a satisfying "do-it-yourself" job that requires no glue or special tools.
- Preparation: Ensure the subfloor is relatively level and broom-clean.
- Layout: Start in a corner of the garage. Lay down the first tile with the "pins" (male side) facing in the direction you are working.
- Clicking: Place the next tile against it and simply press it into place with your foot or a rubber mallet. The patented locking system ensures a seamless connection.
- Customizing: Need to work around a pillar or reaching a wall? You can easily cut the tiles to size with a circular saw or jigsaw (use a fine-toothed blade).
- Finishing: Use the special Swisstrax Edging at the garage entrance for a smooth transition and a clean look.
Maintenance: Cleaning is surprisingly simple. Use a vacuum cleaner to suck up the dirt between the gaps, or simply hose down the floor with a water hose. The water drains away through the channels under the tiles.
