What is so special about the Roller Cut DA?
When polishing, your pad determines at least as much as your compound. The Cut pad is the most aggressive choice in the range and is intended for the correction step: removing scratches, oxidation, and visible paint defects. Whereas a finishing pad mainly smooths out, this pad is designed to remove material.
ADBL's Roller Cut works with any type of polishing compound, which makes it versatile: you don't have to match your pad to one specific brand or formula. ADBL emphasizes the quality of the components used and the precision with which the pads are made, which translates to a uniform performance and less vibration during polishing.
Despite the name "DA" the pad can be used on both dual-action and rotary machines. This gives you freedom in your workflow: milder correction with a DA, or maximum cutting power with a rotary machine.
The three available diameters cover the entire workspace. The largest size makes quick work of hoods, roofs, and doors, the middle one is the all-around choice, and the smallest allows you to work precisely on narrow panels, curves, and targeted defects.

How do you use the Roller Cut DA?
- Choose the diameter that fits the job and your machine's backing plate. The pad must always match the plate properly.
- Make sure the paint is completely clean and cool, and never work in direct sunlight.
- Press the pad centrally and evenly onto the hook-and-loop fastener of the backing plate so it is not misaligned and causing vibrations.
- Apply your polish sparingly to the pad and spread it gently over the surface before ramping up speed.
- Work the area using overlapping cross-hatch movements and even pressure. Always start with the pad against the panel and only lift it off when the machine has stopped.
- Clean the pad periodically with compressed air or a pad cleaner, as a saturated pad cuts unpredictably.
- Wash the pad after use with a suitable product, let it air dry lying flat, and store it flat.
