What is so special about the Roller Hard Cut DA?
When an ordinary cut pad is not enough, you reach for the Hard Cut. This is the hardest pad in the Roller range, designed for the heaviest correction jobs: deep scratches, heavily oxidized paint, and defects that remain after an initial pass.
The harder the pad, the more of your machine's pressure and movement is transferred directly into the paint. That is precisely what makes this pad so powerful, yet more demanding to use: it is best to work in a controlled manner, keep the machine moving, and regularly check your results in between to avoid removing too much material.
The pad can be used on both dual-action and rotary machines and works with any type of polishing compound, allowing you to freely combine it, for example, with a heavy compound like Cut Pro. ADBL emphasizes the quality of the components used and the precision in production, which translates into a pad that maintains its shape under load.
The three standard diameters cover the entire workspace, from precision work on narrow panels to rapid progress on the hood and roof.

How do you use the Roller Hard Cut DA?
- Wash the car thoroughly, decontaminate where necessary, and make sure the paint is completely clean and cool. Never work in direct sunlight.
- Measure the paint thickness if in doubt. With a hard pad, you remove a noticeable amount of material, so make sure there is sufficient clear coat/paint remaining.
- Choose the diameter that fits the job and press the pad centrally onto the hook-and-loop fastener of your backing plate.
- Apply your compound sparingly to the pad and spread it across an area of approximately 40 x 40 cm at a low speed first.
- Work the area using cross-hatch movements and even pressure. Keep moving and do not stay in one spot.
- Check your results regularly in between and stop as soon as the defects are gone, rather than continuing to work unnecessarily.
- Clean the pad periodically with compressed air or a pad cleaner, and always follow up with a finer pad and finishing compound before applying protection.
