What makes the Roller Pad Mix DA so special?
When doing touch-up work, most detailers run into trouble in the same spots: bumper edges, mirror covers, door pillars, and the area around the door handles. A full-size pad won’t fit there, so those areas often go untreated. This mini pad set solves that problem.
The set includes five pads, each with its own unique characteristics, so you have the entire correction line in miniature format right at home. The Hard Cut for the toughest defects, the Polish as a middle ground, the Soft Polish for lighter correction and finishing, plus a Pro Microfiber pad and a Pro Wool pad for those who want more cutting power than foam alone can provide.
Each type has its own advantage. The foam pads have a distinctive diamond shape, which adapts better to curved surfaces—exactly where you’d use these sizes. The microfiber pad has a flexible intermediate layer that allows it to conform smoothly. And the wool pad is designed to limit heat buildup, which can quickly become a problem on small surfaces.
Both available diameters, 30 and 50 mm, work on both dual-action and rotary machines, provided you use the corresponding small backing pad.

How do you use Roller Pad Mix DA?
- Install a backing plate that matches the selected pad diameter (30 or 50 mm). A standard plate is too large for these pads.
- Choose the pad based on the type of defects: Hard Cut for deep scratches, Polish as a middle ground, Soft Polish for light correction and finishing, and microfiber or wool for extra cutting power.
- Make sure the paint is clean and cool, and never work in direct sunlight.
- Press the pad onto the center of the Velcro and use the paste sparingly, because very little is needed on this small surface.
- Work at a low to moderate speed. Small pads build up heat faster than large ones, so keep moving constantly.
- Work on the area in short passes and check your progress as you go, especially near edges and corners where the paint layer is thinner.
- Clean the pads after use, let them air dry flat, and store them flat.
