Roller Polish R
The ADBL Roller Polish R is the medium-hard polishing pad for rotary machines. Designed for moderate paint correction: removing signs of wear and lighter scratches with a neat finish. The diamond shape ensures efficiency and safety, and the pad works with any type of polishing compound.
ADBL ROLLER POLISH R
What is so special about the Roller Polish R?
The bulk of the paint damage you encounter is not extreme: signs of wear, wash scratches, and lighter defects. The Polish pad fits precisely into that work range. As a medium-hard pad, it sits between the aggressive cut pads and the soft finishing pads, making it the most used pad in the series.
This R version is specifically designed for rotary machines, where the constant spinning motion generates more cutting power and more heat than a dual-action machine. The pad must be able to handle this load without deforming, and its construction is tailored to that.
Two design elements make working easier. The hook-and-loop surface is wider than the backing plate, allowing you to place and remove it quickly without having to aim, which is convenient when switching between steps. And the characteristic diamond shape of the foam ensures more uniform contact with the paint and helps dissipate heat, which matters extra during rotary work.
The pad works with any type of polishing compound, so you can adjust it upwards or downwards: with a firmer compound, the result shifts towards correction; with a finishing compound, towards finishing.
MANUAL
How do you use Roller Polish R?
- Wash the car thoroughly, decontaminate where necessary, and make sure the paint is completely clean and cool. Never work in direct sunlight.
- Choose the diameter that fits the job and your rotary machine's backing plate.
- Press the pad centrally and evenly onto the hook-and-loop fastener so that it is not crooked and won't vibrate.
- Apply your compound sparingly to the pad and spread it across an area of approximately 40 x 40 cm at a low speed first.
- Work at a controlled speed using cross-hatch movements and even pressure. Keep moving to prevent heat buildup.
- Do a test spot first to check whether the combination of pad and compound delivers the desired result.
- Clean the pad periodically with compressed air or a pad cleaner, wash it out after use, and let it air dry flat.
