Roller Pro Wool DA
ADBL ROLLER PRO WOOL DA
What is so special about the Roller Pro Wool DA?
When defects are too deep for foam, wool is the answer. A wool pad cuts considerably more aggressively because the fibers drive the abrasive directly into the paint, rather than distributing it the way foam does. Precisely for this reason, ADBL's Pro Wool tackles the severe cases: deep scratches, severe dullness, and pitting in the paint.
The choice for short fibers is deliberate. Long wool fibers tend to mat together and work irregularly, whereas short fibers distribute the polishing agent evenly and cut more consistently across the entire surface. This keeps your correction predictable rather than patchy.
Heat is the biggest point of attention when working with wool, and ADBL has taken this into account: the type of wool used generates less heat during polishing. This gives you more margin, especially on thin paint layers and during extended working times.
In addition, the wool is mounted on a flexible intermediate layer. This allows the pad to follow the shape of the panel and keeps you in control on curves and uneven surfaces, where a stiff pad tends to drift away. The pad works on both dual-action and rotary machines.
MANUAL
How do you use Roller Pro Wool DA?
- Wash the car thoroughly, decontaminate where necessary, and make sure the paint is completely clean and cool. Never work in direct sunlight.
- Measure the paint thickness before you begin. Wool removes a noticeable amount of material, so make sure there is sufficient paint thickness.
- Choose the diameter that fits the job and press the pad centrally onto the hook-and-loop fastener of your backing plate.
- Prime the pad lightly with your compound before the first use so that the fibers are evenly saturated and the pad doesn't start dry.
- Work at a controlled speed using cross-hatch movements. Keep moving constantly and never stay in one spot.
- Check your result regularly in between and stop as soon as the defects are gone. Clean the fibers in between with compressed air or a pad brush.
- Always follow up with a finer pad and compound: wool leaves marks that you must remove with a polish and finish step before applying protection.
