RUPES BIGFOOT LHR 21 MARK.III
What's so special about the Bigfoot LHR21 Mark.III?
With its 21 mm throw and Ø150 mm backing plate, the LHR 21 MarkIII random orbital polisher is the perfect tool for working on large surface areas. The LHR 21 MarkIII allows the user to achieve very high-quality finishes, even with a limited number of passes. The improved efficiency guarantees more power and torque on any surface.
IMPROVED ERGONOMICS
The rubberized front grip of the MarkIII offers exceptional comfort for the user while ensuring a non-slip surface for control. The improved rear handle also incorporates rubberized surfaces for a better feel. Two strategically placed, non-marking tool rests provide stability when the tool is not in use and additional protection against unintended impacts. The continuous refinement of the BigFoot random orbital platform in the MarkIII reinforces its reputation as best-in-class, making the best even better.
ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL DIAL
With the new electronic speed control dial, the polisher’s top speed can be easily adjusted without the user having to move their hands. The larger dial can be easily adjusted with a thumb movement. Highly visible numbers and more positive feedback from the dial's movement ensure that speed changes feel more deliberate, allowing the operator to select the ideal speed for the task without interrupting the polishing process.
9-METER POWER CORD
The new, extra-long 9-meter heavy-duty cord is designed to deliver maximum power to the polisher for safe and efficient operation. The longer cord saves you time, effort, and hassle, as the user does not need to use additional extension cords when polishing around a car.
PROGRESSIVE TRIGGER
An additional layer of control is provided by the new progressive trigger. Acting as a throttle to control speeds within the dial's range, the progressive trigger allows the user to make subtle adjustments for precise control without interrupting the process or having to reposition the grip to reach the speed dial.
DESIGN
Attention to detail is more than just an attractive design. Every detail, such as the rubber support placed on the body of the machine to keep it stable during non-working phases, is the result of meticulous research aimed at achieving maximum comfort for the operator.
MANUAL
How do you use the Bigfoot LHR21 Mark III?
Ensure the vehicle has been thoroughly washed, clayed, and the paint feels cool to the touch. Attach a suitable 150/180 mm polishing pad (such as the Rupes D-A foam or wool pads) exactly centered on the backing plate and apply four to five drops of polishing compound.
Place the pad flat on the paint and spread the polish over a working area of approximately 50x50 cm on the lowest setting. Start the machine with the progressive trigger and set the desired maximum speed via the variable speed dial on the top. Move the LHR21 Mark III in steady, overlapping passes in a cross-hatch pattern over the surface. Because this is a free-spinning Dual Action machine, you do not need to apply heavy pressure; the machine does the work. Switch off the machine before lifting it from the paint and wipe away the residue with a clean microfiber cloth.
