What's so special about the Orange Polishing Pad?
Scholl's orange polishing pad is a firm yet fine polishing pad that creates maximum gloss. It is the ideal pad for paintwork that is slightly weathered or has light scratches (swirls). It removes blemishes (superficial dull spots) and light scratches from the paint for a deep, high-gloss finish.
This pad features a recessed Velcro edge for safe and comfortable operation, even in hard-to-reach places such as bumpers and spoilers. The razor-sharp Velcro backing is risk-free.
All Scholl polishing pads are made from high-quality European foam, combined with a high-grade adhesive layer and Velcro backing. They are specifically developed for modern hard paint types, but can also be used perfectly on soft or aged paint. Every pad undergoes a manual quality control check.

How do you use the Orange Polishing Pad?
Attach the Orange Polishing Pad to the backing plate of your polishing machine. This pad excels in combination with "one-step" polishes such as Scholl Concepts S20 Black or medium-cut compounds like S17+.
Apply three to four pea-sized drops of polishing compound to the pad. Spread the product over a work area of approximately 40x40 cm at the lowest speed setting. Increase the speed to a medium level and work in overlapping passes (horizontally and vertically). Because this pad has a medium hardness, you can vary the pressure: apply slightly more pressure for more correction, and almost no pressure for the final passes to maximize gloss.
Clean the pad after each panel with a pad brush to remove accumulated paint residue and saturated polishing compound. After finishing the entire job, wash the pad with lukewarm water and a suitable pad cleaner, then allow it to air-dry.
