What is so special about Shampoo Be Acid?
If you have a ceramic coating or a wax layer, you will notice over time that the water beading decreases. This is rarely because the coating is 'gone', but usually because there is a layer of mineral deposits on top: limescale from tap water, residues from rain, and road grime. A neutral shampoo cannot remove this.
ADBL's Be Acid is made for this exact purpose. Thanks to a unique blend of acids, it dissolves these mineral deposits, exposing your protection once again and restoring the water-repellent effect. This way, a regular wash brings back the feeling of a freshly coated car.
Importantly, despite its acidic nature, the product is safe for ceramic coatings, quartz layers, and wax. You are not damaging your protection; you are simply cleaning it.
During the wash itself, you will notice the added polymers: they ensure ideal lubrication, allowing your wash mitt to move smoothly over the paint and reducing the risk of wash scratches. In addition, the product foams exceptionally well, making the work enjoyable.
You dose 25 to 50 ml per 10-liter bucket of water. Work using the two-bucket method and always rinse thoroughly afterward.

How do you use Shampoo Be Acid?
- Rinse the car thoroughly first, or apply a pre-wash foam to loosen the coarsest dirt.
- Mix 25 to 50 ml of shampoo in a 10-liter bucket of water. Preferably work with two buckets, each equipped with a grit guard.
- Wash the car with a microfiber wash mitt such as the ADBL Caremitt or Promitt.
- Work from top to bottom with light, straight movements and rinse your wash mitt regularly.
- Save the dirtiest parts, such as sills and the lower body, for last.
- Rinse the car completely with clean water and do not let the product dry on the paint.
- Dry the car with a drying towel and check if the water beading has visibly improved again.
