What is so special about Slippy?
When decontaminating, one rule is absolute: you never work dry. A clay bar or decontamination pad pulls dirt out of your paint, but without a lubricating layer, that same dirt drags across the surface and causes scratches instead of preventing them. ADBL's Slippy is precisely that lubricant.
The product forms a smooth film between your clay and the paint, allowing the tool to glide smoothly and keeping the trapped particles encapsulated instead of abrasive. You can use it with any type: classic clay bars, as well as the Clay Mitt, Clay Sponge, and Clay Towel from the same range.
Practical advantage: the product is ready to use and you do not need to rinse afterwards. After claying, you simply wipe away the residue with a microfiber cloth and move on to your next step. That saves time and water.
Moreover, Slippy is dual-purpose. Diluted at a ratio of 1:2, it works as a drying aid, which is handy when you want extra lubrication during drying after washing. This way you get more out of a single bottle. Finished with a pleasant peach scent.
MANUAL
How do you use Slippy?
- Wash and dry the car completely first, so that there is no more coarse dirt or sand on the paint.
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Generously spray an area of approximately 50 x 50 cm with the product. Work panel by panel and do not skimp on lubricant.
- Move your clay bar, mitt, sponge, or towel over the wet surface with light pressure in straight lines.
- Spray more as soon as the surface starts to dry out. Never work dry, as this causes scratches.
- Wipe away the residue with a clean microfiber cloth. Rinsing is not necessary.
- If you want to use the product as a drying aid, dilute it with water in a ratio of 1:2.
