What makes the Tire and Rubber Cleaner so special?
Tire rubber is porous and attracts dirt like a sponge. In addition, residue from previously applied tire shine remains on the surface and builds up over time. You’ll recognize the result immediately: a brownish haze on the sidewall, or a new layer of tire shine that applies unevenly and runs down the tire after the first rain shower. The cause is almost always an inadequately cleaned surface.
ADBL Tire and Rubber Cleaner is designed to restore the surface to its original condition. The product thoroughly degreases and works immediately after application: it penetrates the rubber and loosens dirt and old dressing residue from the surface. It also contains ingredients that make it easier to rinse and dry the tire, which makes the job go much more smoothly.
The result is rubber that looks smooth and matte black again instead of grayish-brown, and that is once again ready for a dressing treatment. Expect that a tire that hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time will require two treatments. In addition to tires, the product can also be used on other rubber parts, such as wheel well liners and door seals. Be very careful with your rims: untreated—i.e., unpainted—rims may react poorly to this type of cleaner.

How do you use Tire and Rubber Cleaner?
- Work in the shade on a cool tire, and test the product first on an inconspicuous spot.
- Rinse the wheel beforehand so that the surface is damp before you apply the cleaner.
- Spray the cleaner evenly onto the tire and let it sit for about a minute; never let the product dry.
- Work the surface with a tire brush or applicator pad until the dirt visibly comes loose and a brown layer of foam forms.
- Avoid contact with untreated, unpainted rims, and immediately rinse off any splashes.
- Then rinse the tire thoroughly with water and repeat the treatment if any dirt or old tire conditioner remains.
- Let the rubber dry completely before applying another coat of tire shine, and store the bottle in a cool, dry, frost-free place.
