What is so special about the Black Pot?
Did you accidentally drop your Tornador, is the screw thread worn out, or do you simply want to be able to switch between different cleaning agents faster? The Tornador Black Replacement Jar is the original replacement cup (1000ml) for the Z-020RS. Although it is specifically designed for the Black series, it often fits other Tornador models as well, thanks to the standard screw connection.
This cup is made of chemically resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE). What makes this "pot" so handy is the clear measurement markings on the side. This means you no longer have to fumble with measuring cups; you simply fill it with water up to the desired line and add your concentrate. For the professional detailer, an extra pot is not a luxury but a necessity: you fill one pot with APC for upholstery and the other with an interior cleaner for plastics, and you switch in an instant without spilling.

How do you use the Black Pot?
Replacing or using the pot is straightforward, but there are a few tips for a longer lifespan:
- Filling: Use the scale on the cup to accurately determine your mixing ratio (e.g. 1:10 or 1:20). Always leave a little air space at the top so that the liquid can be drawn in properly.
- Attachment: Screw the cup hand-tight onto the Tornador gun. Do not overtighten; the rubber sealing ring of the gun does the work. Overtightening can eventually damage the threads of the plastic cup.
- Switching: Do you want to switch products? Unscrew the jar and, if possible, use a sealing cap (often sold separately) to store the cup you are not using dust-free.
- Cleaning: Always rinse the pot with clean water after use, especially if you have used more aggressive cleaners or degreasers. This prevents chemical residues from soaking into the plastic or caking on.
Tip: Mark your different cups with a waterproof marker or a label (e.g. "APC", "Interior", "Fabric") so you never accidentally spray the wrong product on the wrong surface!
