WSR
ADBL WSR stands for Water Spot Remover: a powerful solution for removing water spots and mineral deposits from paint, glass, and plastic. The formula uses a combination of acids that penetrate and dissolve the deposits, so you don’t have to scrub. Scent: wild strawberry.
ADBL WSR
What makes the WSR so special?
Water spots are the classic result of a car drying in the sun after being washed, or of a sprinkler system running over your car at night. The water evaporates, but the minerals it contained remain behind as a white, circular mark. They’re most visible on glass, and on dark paint they’re almost impossible to ignore. The frustrating thing is that washing doesn’t help: it’s not about dirt sitting on the surface, but about minerals that have become embedded.
ADBL WSR was developed specifically for this purpose. It is a powerful formula based on acids that work synergistically, allowing them to penetrate the deposits and break them down. The major advantage of this chemical approach is that you don’t have to mechanically scrub the stains away, which is already difficult on glass and immediately causes scratches on paint.
The product can be used on painted surfaces, glass, and plastic, and ADBL notes that it is particularly well-suited for maintaining protective coatings. After all, water spots can form even on a coated car, and in that case, you want a product that tackles the stains without damaging your coating. Always work on a cool surface and in the shade, and test it first. It is and remains an acidic product.
MANUAL
How do you use WSR?
- Wash the car first, and then work in the shade on a surface that has cooled completely.
- Test the product on an inconspicuous area before applying it to larger surfaces, especially on plastic and over an existing coating.
- Apply the product to the area with limescale and make sure the surface is thoroughly covered.
- Work the product into the surface using a microfiber cloth in crisscross motions—alternating between horizontal and vertical strokes.
- Do not let the product dry, and keep an eye on the surface while you work.
- Then rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer.
- Are there still any stains? Repeat the treatment instead of scrubbing harder, and reapply a protective coating afterward if you suspect that your wax or sealant layer has been damaged.
