How do you use Hand Wax?

Before polishing and sealing, thoroughly wash/clean the vehicle with an alkaline solution (e.g., with Green Star; do not use sealing shampoos). For heavy contamination such as tree sap, surface rust, tar, etc., pre-treat the paint with cleaning clay, tar shampoo, etc.

Paint preparation: Heavily to moderately weathered paints.

1. Depending on the condition, machine the paint with Heavy Cut (H9.01) or Fine Cut (F6.01) polish (see product information Heavy Cut and Fine Cut).
2. Remove residue completely with a professional microfiber cloth.
3. Machine-process lightly weathered paint (hologram removal) to a high gloss using Micro Cut (M3.02) with an eccentric sander with forced rotation (e.g. Makita PO5000C) and Micro Cut Pad (see product information Micro Cut M3.02).
4. Remove residue completely with a professional microfiber cloth*. Wipe all surfaces gently with a clean professional microfiber cloth* soaked in silicone and wax remover. Immediately before drying, wipe the surfaces with a new professional microfiber cloth* with your other hand. This is the only way to completely remove surfactants, drying agents, oils in polishes, etc., and to prevent adhesion problems caused by hand washing.

Note: For sensitive single- or single-coat paints, dilute the silicone and wax remover 1:4 with water to prevent the paint from becoming dull. Polish off the remaining streaks with another clean professional microfiber cloth* without applying pressure.

The paint should now have a scratch- and hologram-free surface under sunlight or a sodium vapor paint test lamp. After this step, the paint should no longer be touched with your hands or fingers (risk of adhesion problems, wear gloves). The surface is now perfectly suitable for hand washing.

Applying wax:

1. Before applying, lightly press the sponge supplied into the packaging and spread the wax evenly over the surface.
2. Let the wax air dry and then polish it with a microfiber cloth.
3. Preferably work section by section, e.g. first the hood and only then the next part.

Car Washing: To maintain the high-gloss wax surface long-term and prevent it from being removed too quickly during cleaning, wash your car carefully by hand. Use plenty of water, mild detergents, and only soft cloths to gently dry the surface. Harsh and aggressive detergents will remove the wax more quickly and scratch the surface. If you use a car wash, use only textile washes.
